Big shout-out to the amazing NACTT crowd of 600 Chapter 13 bankruptcy trustees, debtor and creditor lawyers, and legal professionals for being such a fantastic audience!
I had the privilege of keynoting the 60th annual conference on “ChatGPT, Artificial Intelligence, and The Future of Law.” We talked about how generative AI tools like ChatGPT can help trustees, lawyers, and legal professionals work more efficiently — drafting letters and instructions, summarizing documents, creating clear debtor guides, and handling repetitive questions. Now that they’re being asked (told?) to do more with less, AI can help pick up the slack.
Of course, we also covered the real risks and ethical considerations: confidentiality, data security, accuracy, and the importance of human supervision. These professionals care deeply about fairness and integrity, and we had great discussions about using these tools responsibly. 
And yes — there was plenty of laughter! NACTT President Lon Jenkins even said my presentation style “reminded him of John Mulaney!”
