We always learned that it’s not about the trophies, it’s what they stand for. There are dozens of marketing competitions in all industries honoring a wide range of achievements. Frankly, we don’t see why agencies enter so many of them. We don’t need trophies for being creative or clever.

We like being judged against our competition head-to-head on one issue – Effectiveness. We enter the competitions where a primary consideration is “Did the marketing effort achieve the firm’s objectives and generate sizable and measurable revenue?” We like winning those because it’s the client who really wins. Not only do they get to put the trophy in their lobby, they’re already in a significantly better financial position as a result of the honored activity.

For that, we’re happy to brag about our clients and our work. Fishman Marketing has received dozens of international marketing awards, including winning at least one Legal Marketing Association first-place trophy for 17 straight years.

In fact, not only have we received five of the LMA’s grand prize “Best in Show” honors ever awarded, it was actually created for Fishman Marketing. The LMA judges tell the story that they conceived a single grand-prize honor because otherwise we’d have won nearly every single individual category. We’ve also received many awards from ALA, the ABA, and others, including one of just ten Inc. magazine “Marketing Masters” award ever bestowed, for a “brilliant and successful” marketing campaign.
